Almost everything was as much as we could ask for in a mid-priced hotel. All staff were kind and effective. All of the hotel was clean and functioning well. Our room was great (we opted for one with a plunge pool - which we really enjoyed on late afternoons). The bed was king sized and was comfortable. Screens on all the windows which allowed us to get fresh air without letting in mosquitoes etc. A/C worked well and we had a ceiling fan which allowed us to minimize the energy consumption and not use the A/C as much. The location was perfect for us as it was just far enough away from any bars or the busy area of Merida, that it was quiet at night. But it's only a 2 block walk until you start to get into the thick of the Centro district. We also booked a very reasonably priced tour to Uxmal, Kabah, and cenote Peba. They picked us up and dropped us back off at the hotel.

The room, private pool, and outdoor seating areas were exactly as pictured. The room was spacious with plenty of space to unpack, the A/C was nice and cold, and the TV had countless options. The outdoor seating area was so pleasant and relaxing with the beautiful blue, pink, and yellow paint and all the green plants. The location was very convenient (easy walking to many restaurants and sights). We arrived the night before Hurricane Beryl, and the hotel staff at the front desk gave us extremely detailed, helpful information about what to expect and how to prepare.

The room was clean, decent size and cozy. It had all necessary things: hot water, hair drier, tv, conditioner, etc. but also some additional little pleasant details: great decor, hair products and small personal care products. The common facilities are beautiful with lots of plants and a small swimming pool. The placement is comfortable walking distance from the center, and even though they have no their own parking, but the hotel has an agreement with one parking just around the corner for a small additional fee.

I had a wonderful stay at Art 57. The room was very clean, the location perfect, bed comfortable, and breakfast tasty and filling. What sets this hotel apart from so many other excellent places is the staff! All of the staff went out of their way to make my time there perfect. In particular, Nadia and Ana on multiple occasions helped me book tours, find locations in the city, and always with a smile.

Julie

We very unhappy with our previous hotel in Merida so we changed for one night to Art Hotel and we were very happy there. The location is quite good, but it is not so noisy and loud as in more central places in Merida. Our room was not so big, but the design was lovely, everything was clean and tidy. there were a fridge and a safe in the room. The AC was good. The staff was very friendly.
